My 1969 K20 is finally back from the body shop and I have started the task of reassembly. Can't wait to have it to the point where I can fire up the 454 for the first time. To that end, I am beginning by getting the truck wired, then I will be plumbing the engine so I can fire it up. Then I will finish the interior and the exterior.
The stock radiator hose was not working so I had to take a radiator hose for a big block truck and cut it and then add a piece with a 90 degree turn in it. Added a copper sleeve from a radiator repair shop to splice the two hoses together. Fits like a glove now. The pic of the guages with them lite up looks much better in person.
Hopefully I can progress fast as I can't wait to be back on the road!
